My Story

Hey family!

My name is Oprah and I am the owner of Surely Goodness. I am a Christian who loves the lord dearly and  a wife and mom of 2. My family and I who recently moved from Jamaica to the U.S in July of 2025.

Here’s the thing, the Lord gave me this business 5 years ago in Jamaica and He opened many doors to make this business reach the people He intended. When leaving Jamaica I had no plans to resume the business however, the Lord had other plans.

On Sunday September 7, 2025 during the sermon the Lord told me to use what’s in my hands and step out in faith and obedience. I am on a journey of partnering with God to spread the good news about Jesus Christ with what He has given me.

This is a new beginning and I can’t wait to see what God will do. This is all because of Him and for Him.

About The business 

Surely Goodness Apparel is a Christian lifestyle brand whose mission is to help people build their lives on faith first. Oprah & Jonathan designed Surely Goodness Apparel for those who desire to boldly wear their faith on their sleeves.

THE NAME

During the season of prayer for the vision of the business and the way forward, Oprah was led to Psalm 23:6 which is actually her husband Jonathan’s, favourite scripture.

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.”

It felt right and the rest was as they say, history. The name also acts as a promise of the quality of the products to be received - Surely Goodness. Surely Goodness started in Jamaica and is now based in Florida where the couple now resides
